Charlotte was fortunate enough to be visited by many loving family members at St. Mary's Hospital during her first two days of life.

Charlotte lost a full pound in the first week she was born, and she was jaundiced, so she needed to hang out with a bili blanket for a few days.
In this picture you can kind of see how yellow she was.
Here's our bright little baby on June 14!
It was pretty hard to hear that she was not gaining weight, and we had to supplement with formula . . . and some donated milk . . . for about three days, but Charlotte soon started gaining weight again, and as I write this (in October!) you would never know that she struggled in the first few days of her life!
