She went to Julia and Matt's wedding in Minneapolis on October 6 . . .
And let us know she was on her way the next day - her daddy's birthday . . .
Went to the English convention in Madison on October 11 and 12, where she learned about how to engage adolescent readers using high-interest novels . . .
Tried sushi (all fully cooked) with Aunt Jenny on October 11 . . .
Got her picture taken the week of October 15 to let us know she was in the right place. . .
Went to her second wedding (for mommy's work friend) on October 20 . . .
Took a trip to Indiana to hang out with cousins, pick up a crib, and to have her cousin Anna to tell Aunt Karen an exciting secret . . .
Had a breakfast that turned into lunch with Angela, Liam, and (then-unborn) Ava sometime in the fall (it was a Badger game day) . . .
Got her (second set of) pictures taken on November 1 and let us know we should expect to meet her around June 18 . . .

Had her Indiana cousins, aunts, and most of her grandparents over for Thanksgiving . . .
Went to her first parade (at night!) the day after Thanksgiving . . .
Spent part of Christmas with her Minnesota cousins . . .
Spent some time with Langdon, Anna, and fetus D'Shou (born Lucille Sophia on April 24) at Khan's in Minneapolis and also at MooseJaw Pizza in Wisconsin Dells in late December/early January (where we were joined by big sister Eliza). . .
Listened (very patiently) to all of Romeo and Juliet, performed by 9th graders . . .
Let us know she was a girl and had more pictures (including a very adorable view of her foot) taken on Memaw's birthday (Jan. 28) . . .
Welcomed Ava (the first baby born of all of Mommy's friends who were/are pregnant at the same time as mommy) into the world in early February . . .
Watched Pardeeville beat Randolph on Valentine's Day (Randolph had been undefeated in conference basketball games since mommy was in college) and rocked out to the pep band . . .
Really rocked out to the pep band during the WinterFest pep rally at school the next day . . .
Enjoyed one of four concerts in Ripon College's Fine Arts Series later that night (but didn't rock out quite the same way that she did to the pep band) . . .
Met Tracy's baby girl (in utero) and Joyce in Madison on February 17, where she and Tracy's Baby girl bought their first (of many?) matching outfits/jammies . . .
Let us know she was STILL a girl (but wouldn't let us see her heart or her profile very well) on cousin Kira's birthday (Feb. 19) . . .
Drove to Chicago in February, where she hung out with her aunts and cousins, went to the Shedd Aquarium, ate at a bunch of cute restaurants, rode a train, and was introduced to nearly every waitress in Chicago by her oldest cousin Adele (all without Memaw, whose birthday we were supposed to be celebrating - boo flu!) . . .

Went to the pediatric cardiologist for more (inconclusive) heart pictures during a crazy snowstorm in early March (mom and dad didn't lose sick days because school was cancelled due to the weather!) . . .
Took her first airplane ride to New York for a Crossword tournament and to hang out and eat cheese blintzes, donuts, popcorn and pizza (not all at once) with Tracy's Baby Girl (due mid-May) at the Upper East Side Tenement Museum, Riverside Park, and Central Park in March . . .

Spent St. Patrick's day learning about cool technology and other fun stuff at the Social Studies convention . . .

Went to a baby shower for Krista's baby girl (Fiona, born April 22, four days early, and on Lucille's due date) . . .
Stayed home sick for Easter :( . . .
Had more pictures taken (with Memaw and Bapa in the room) on April 16, when the ultrasound estimated her weight at one ounce less than mommy's birth weight and showed that she was head-down (not necessarily to stay yet) . . .
Had two "friends" born in one week (Fiona and Lucille) . . .
Went on a road trip to Oglesby, Illinois on April 27 for a marathon 7-hour McDonald's feast (actually we only ate one salad each and drank lots of water during that time) with mommy's college roommate Rachel and Rachel's Baby Boy (edd June 5). We were sad that Nickie and Nickie's Baby Boy (edd about one week after Baby Girl David's) couldn't make it :(.
Coming up in the next few weeks, Baby Girl David plans to listen to presentations on the Gilded Age, meet more cousins and friends at her baby shower, and hang tight until mom and dad get out of school the first week of June . . . oh, and maybe plant a garden if it stops raining and warms up for more than two days at a time! She hasn't decided whether she'll let her dad hold her on Father's Day this year or not.
